OK, Picture time,
Since I last posted I had to do something about the dry rotted tires, I got stupid and thougt they would last a while, well going down I-10 @75mph the left front tire threw the tread off like a grenade! scared the **** out of me, was on a long bridge with a gas truck next to me so no where to go but straight, miraculously the tire carcass stayed intact and I was able to nurse her home on the treadless tire.
I had a real hard time finding a set of used 14" tires, during my search I found a set of aluminum 16" rims with nice BF goodrich T/A`s in the rear and Goodyear Eagles up front, plenty of tread, guy wanted $200 for the set, I called the scrap yard and got $200 for the grand am so I nabbed the wheels and tires, they looked familiar and later when getting the items needed for an oil change the guy at advance auto asked me where I got the IROC Z rims! Looking on ebay it seems I`ve ran into another fabulous deal, they want serious money for those OEM camaro wheels!
Anyway I`ll bore you no more with words, heres the pix.

For paint I`m thinking of doing a two tone silver, light silver on top, dark metallic charcoal gray below, separated by a thin red pinstripe with the "heartbeat" incorporated in the pinstripe just behind the door.
Thanks for the comments, I absolutely LOVE this car, it drives like a dream.

Awesome, wish I could fall into some deals!! Love SB Chevy's, my 327 runs really good, and had a 283 before that was great bone stock!! Good luck with your project, looks like it's in good caring hands!!
