Interesting, I heard a while back they were going to start slapping GM badges on the cars. I don't have a problem with that, but personally I think it looks out of place where they put it. One on the trunk or something would have made more sense to me. I'm with you, I think I would take them off if it were mine.

Good luck with yours! We have had an SS on order since October and it still isn't made yet! We wanted the gray leather interior and there is a supply problem (the seats are on backorder). We went to the dealer the day after Christmas and they looked it up on the computer again and said it is still on hold and no build date yet (bummer)...although one time they said mid to late Jan. The tan leather seems to be on backorder too because we've been checking chevrolet.com and there is no tan one anywhere to be found. So, we're being patient...maybe it's a good thing that we'll be driving it less in the snow/ice.

Welcome to the board. Nice looking Monte. Can't wait to go up against one of those with my 76 Landau.

the 2006's/mine looks a little lighter.... and I know I've gotten past 90mph faster than 15 sec's (I've gotten up to 60/65 in 5 seconds)... I think I could take ya...

and the green things look like bumpers that are used when docking a boat into a slip... so as not to damage the sides...

Thanks for the welcome everyone!!
