New guy on the block with a 1986 Aerocoupe
Hi All,
New here. This site came up when I was doing a Google search.
Have been lurking around for a little while, and did not see much of the older Monte SS's, especially the Aerocoupes. But thought that I would join and show off my baby.
1986 Aerocoupe, full body off restoration. Powder coated most everything from the ground up.
White pearl paint with gold, green and red pearled ghost flames across the hood and down the sides.
Have taken some liberties in the stock 305 engine. Base 180 HP is now in the 350hp range and a blast to drive.
True dual mandrel bent 2 1/2 exhaust, ceramic coated from the TPS headers all the way back thru the flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers to the tips.
Thanks,
Gery

Welcome to the forum!
Love the work you've done to the aerocoupe. Nice touch with the hood liner.
Great work all the way around! Did it need any restoration work when you got it? Rust, damaged/missing parts, etc?
