thanks guys

she just turned 154,xxx today
no service book unless haynes manuals count then yes
my only issue at the moment is the smog pump was blowing fuses so i removed and tore it down, it was rusted solid, currently looking for a replacement, i cant access my paypal so working with just a card, no local auto stores carry nor can order it, the second is i just comlpetely flushed the a/c system, replaced the accumulator and orifice tube, replaced all the seals but the one behind the comp clutch, vac`d for an hour, it held for an hour, then charged with a r134a freon that had the oil already in it, the a/c was freezing cold the first week then slowly lost freon over 3 days, but it still holds a static pressure of 40psi

and lastly the shop did not say anything about the history of the car but said it had a new fuel pump in it and the previous owner drove it with a bad power steering leak for a year, i could do a carfax but not realy caring about the history just getting it reliable and im pretty darn close now

after the accident we only had the rental car for 2 weeks also they only gave us 1600 for the old car, there was not many Dependable cars out there for that price, neither me nor my wife have anything near good credit so new was out. on the very last day of having the rental a repo friend of mine told me about this shop that had a used car sales license and a few cheap cars out front, none of them started and the only one that looked and drove great after being jumped was the monte, the car runs and drives smoother then any previously owned vehicles, but after seeing a friends totaly stock grand prix w/ the same engine that hualed a$$ i am now thinking a new timing belt is in order especialy after hearing about the steering leak at the pump above it and the fact the monte is a bit sluggish for what i keep hearing about this engine....

i realy like the car tho, the more i replace now the less ill worry later and the better it should run
