Hey people just found this awesome mc site and thought I’d join in! I'm from Nova Scotia Canada.

Our family owns 3 Monte's witch sounds a little crazy lol, My mother owns a 2001 Silver Monte Carlo SS with 145k on it now. They bought it five years ago with 30k on it and I’ve been hooked.
So last year this time i went shopping for my first car..i was looking for a 5th gen monte at least. All most all of them were junk due to the rust. I finally found a 1997 monte ls (white) with 230k, Put a crap load of work into it to make it somewhat stand out. After a year it decided to die on me going down the highway, cam shaft broke. by this time i had way to much money into the car so i decided to look for something new. Looked at a bunch of grand prixs but it wouldn't seem right if i didn't get a monte. Found a 2001 monte carlo ss with the high sport package. Took it for a drive! and fell in love. I'm currently trying to sell the 97 but no luck so we have 3 sexy cars in are yard. Pic below. I'll add more photos in the other section

thanks everyone! i'll be around for a while i hope! i'm glad to see other borad members from canada too! thats sweet. People on our street think were nuts but who cares lol. I'm hoping to get another motor for the 97, i went to look at one today that was in a 96 lumina but it sounded a little bad so not sure what to do there, take the chance for 300 bucks and buy the hole thing or to keep looking.

haha i just noticed that! there on the rear window right? i thought they were for the raido! learn something new every day!
