Default new to the forum
hello my name is Charles i am 43 year old from around Quincy IL. i am the new owner of an 85 Monte Carlo. It use to belong to my uncle who bought it brand new in 1985. The car is in pretty good shape for never being restored. It has the 4.3 liter v6. Everything on the car is original. The motor, tranny, rearend have had normal service but never have been rebuilt. He took extra car of it, up until he lost his battle with ALS. This car means alot to me, and will stay in the family forever. I do not plan on modding anything on the car, just going to keep it original.

Good to see another 4th generation Monte Carlo!! Looks to be in awesome shape.
How many miles are on your Monte?

it has 230,000 and doesn't burn a drop of oil, and idles like it is brand new.
