New driver on the board
Welcome to the MCF! Friendliest place around.
Post pics if you get the chance.
First thing on the exhaust to go should be the U-Bend (where the O2 sensor is installed) You will easily see it's very restrictive, and I would do that even before mufflers! That's good for a few HP's, specially on ur 3800. (it is a 3.8 rite?)
If doing exhaust I would look into a cat-back, you can usually put them to gether for half of the cost of a full Magnaflow system (like 850$,)
If you don't want to get so crazy from the start, I've heard of ppl getting good results just by eliminating the mufflers and running straight pipe after the resonator. After that, I know everyone that's done mufflers seem to be really crazy about the flowmasters with a resonator delete. And from what I've heard/seen over the web, I agree, they sound great. Just don't do the mufflers without doing the Ubend first, if you're going to be modding the exhaust anyway, you'd be shooting yourself in the foot by not replaceing it.
Good luck and many happy mod/miles!Heck, just More miles for that fact!, wow 200k +!, none of my cars have even come close to that! Either you're doing something very right, or I'm doing something very wrong! lol
