Daily driver or Sunday driver?
#3
Mine is a daily driver for now. I wish I could afford to have a second car to have as my daily driver. So I could keep my Monte for a Sunday driver. But that's not in the cards right now.

Mine are sunday drivers.
The '86 wasn't always a garage queen. The previous owner abused the car pretty good. Sheet metal problems I still deal with, with the car.
The '06 was always planned as a sunday driver. Except I rarely drive the car even on sundays.
The '03 Pace car was a daily driver till we got it.

Daily driver (obviously with my mileage)
The common wear and tear that occurs with a vehicle that's 9 years old and 162,xxx miles.
I've gone through a tranny because I drove it stupid, learned my lesson. And the typical body wear, fixing etc.
Nothing extreme though besides the transmission, and my bushings on the front of the car went without me knowing and it caused my car to crack the cradle when I hit a bad bump, but now it's part of my inspections I do monthly.

Mine's a "whenever I need to go someplace" driver, LOL. My studio is next to my house so I don't have to drive to work, it gets used for errands and road trips that don't involve towing the boat or throwing dead deer/ducks/geese/fish in.
Problems - dang annoying ISS issues, faulty cat. converter (replaced under "special policy"), Passlock (had replaced, knock on wood, haven't had anymore no-start issues since then), and radio that's stuck in clock mode 98% of the time - still plays but most of the buttons don't work including my steering wheel radio controls which SUCKS! somedays it cooperates though. But I still love my baby

My 03 used to be my daily driver for 3.5 years and then I bought a winter beater. So after that my 03 has strictly been my show car. I went through a couple of DDs until I got my 05 SS this past Feb for my daily driver. The only thing that I found wrong with my 03 is the intermediate steering shaft issue. My 05 has only cosmetic things wrong with it (that I was able to fix) - replaced a plastic piece that was broken off the door panel, rock chips and headlight leak. Mechanically the 05 runs great!
