Default New Canadian Member needs help

Glad to find a forum on monte carlo's. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that might be able to help me with some issues.

I have a 2002 ss with 130,000 km's. I have been having an issue with the 3x refrence circuit. I have already replaced the cam sensor, crank sensor, harmonic balancer, coil module and coil packs, and the BCM. None of wich has fixed the problems. The trouble code that comes up on the scanner is a p1374. My mechanic is stumped and we can not seem to find a solution anywhere. I love the car, but I am getting feed up to the point that I want to drive it off of a cliff. Help me please.

Hi `Craig, from Saint John, NB Canada,
Welcome to the Monte Carlo Forum.
Have you checked your plugs, and plug wires for a problem ?
How old are your plugs and wires.
A misfire in a cylinder by a bad plug, or a bad wire
can send Code p1374.
Please be patience, and give the members a chance to read your
post, and hopefully they can give you some suggestions, and
hopefully a solution.
Sure hope you can resolve your problem and get back
to enjoying your Monte Carlo.
Good Luck from `Space

plug wires

I did what you said and changed the wires. Wasn't the problem, but when I was running the new wires I did find a wire that was broken, fixed it,reset with the scan tool and I haven't seen the problem now after 10 starts. Thanks for the advice, If I hadn't have taken the wires off I never would have seen it. thanks again.

Craig, Happy to read that your problem is resolved.
Look forward to your future posts and pictures : )
Good Luck
p.s. Having problems responding
