Thanks all!
I had checked eBay and the usual auto parts sites..I was looking for a new set of wiper arms (the originals just haven't seemed to hit right for years even with tons of different blades).
nallyGM...there they are ($165+ for L/R arms before shipping!)...but at least I finally found new ones. I think eBay will get my vote.
A little grin history on this car.
Valentines Day 1995..I stopped off at my then "female companion"'s workplace, delivered the obligatory VD gift and mentioned that I was off to shop for a new car. I had my sights on either a Impala SS or the grosser Fleetwood. She said oh hell no...you don't need a GrandPa car. Well I had already owned a Vette ('78) and still possessed the high school grad gift ('71 MGB)..so I was more than certain that I didn't need a 'sporty' car despite my advancing age (I would have been 42 then). But being from a loyal Buick Family (I being the exception) I decided to see what a Riviera would set me back. The same salesman that sold Electra's. Estate Wagons and Park Avenues to my parents, siblings and me for 42 years wouldn't budge on the lone Riv on the lot..so *issed off I headed to my friendly Chevrolet dealer. He on the other hand was eager (and well below MSRP)..so I checked all the boxes (I think it has everything you could get)..and then got stuck on the color...the red was too orangie..the blue/grey/green just didn't and it was/is the deep south so black was out. Leaving me with white. It would be 1. The first FWD stead and 2. The first white car in the stable (save the '65 F75). They didn't even have a MC on the lot to test drive so on blind luck I signed the order. May 24 I watched it off load, and go to prep and by noon I had my picture taken with bowtie #2 (#1 was a truck).
Home I went (torque steering all the way). Wasn't fond of the FWD, nor the mile long doors. July 17th I went to pay respect to my best friend who had left us the year before which meant driving 20-25 miles up a federal parkway. No sooner did I get there than I got a page to return to work in a hurry..so I asked the hospital to call the Trace Rangers and the MS Highway patrol and request a escort. Traffic was non existent southbound so in honor of the way I spread his ashes I just decided that I would exceed the 55MPH limit a bit (I had done well over 90 in his '69 COPA edition Camaro conv. months before)...I was grinning ear to ear. 5 miles to go the ugly green Fury made a U behind me and tried to catch up. When we reached the Istate there was a MHP Crown Vic waiting at the bottom of the ramp...I slowed a bit to let the Ford catch me and lead the way since it was evening rush hour. When we got to the hospital Mr. Ranger wasn't happy (like pulled his weapon <G>) I said leave it with the surgery desk and off to save a life I went. Well I had been clocked by radar in excess of 110MPH on a federal road (the max their guns would measure)..I contested the ticket, but the judge didn't care about B. Bondurant driving school..or the fact that I really did save some soul that afternoon. The fine was 2 grand + and I wasn't to drive THAT car for 6 months...so it didn't rack up any miles for probably a year, was outa sight and I was ready to trade it til I noticed that a certain young man always wanted to go check on it. So for his h.s. graduation in 2000 I had it waxed and handed over the original fobs and keys. (17236 miles in 5 years, sill on the original Gyear gatorbacks). Since then it has lived 95% of the time in New Orleans, and in the sun. It survived 8/29/05 on the third level of the Lowes hotel parking deck. It got wacked by a falling window from the 24th or so floor of the W Hotel a couple of months later (a NOPD squad car parked behind took the main hit)...The insurance said it was totaled, but he said no..and the hotel paid to have the roof and deck lid repaired. Since then he's driven it less, learned to hate the 3.4L maintenance and repairs, and the leather interior definitely has seen it's better day. I had to borrow it when the 07 Harley Earl/Tiger Woods special rear air bags failed a week or two ago. I still dislike the mile long doors, but I get totally different looks in it compared to the Rainer or the pickup, so maybe if I can find the parts it will get a new interior and paint and join the 16 antique orphans in the car barn. Then when I'm 70 I can cruise the chicks in style at Denny's!
So far it's had another set of tires, umpteen coils, a couple of A/C compressors and batteries and a new water pump. I bought 6 sets of correct red bowtie hub caps years ago cause they seemed to be real popular with the street thugs. It needs the wiper arms, a console lid fix (I saw the repair on here!) and probably a new cruise/wiper stalk..and that new interior.

Thanks again for your help.
George
