New to this...
Hey, I'm Jacki! I'm a server/bartender from Michigan, and a very amature car repair diy-er. I just bought a 2003 Monte Carlo LS about two months ago. He's blue with beige interior, and about 175,000 miles. Poor guy sat unused for quite sometime before I bought him, so i can only imagine what issues I'm going to be asking you all about in the next couple months!

Welcome Jacki.
Here's a list of things to do for a 100.000 mile maintenance which should be repeated every 100,000. Since the car sat a while and you may not know what has been done, I would start from scratch and do all these.

Welcome Jacki
Check those maintenance tips that plumbob indicated.
After they sit for a bit it is good to change the oil for sure, ( consider a synthetic) Check your Trans fluid too, you may want to change it.
Power steering and brake fluids for sure.
Make sure you get a radiator flush. as cold as it gets in Michigan make sure you test good on the coolant also.
Good luck with the Monte Carlo
