i would like to see if my car is a real taz pace car my vin # is
2g1wx12k2y9376056 2000 car thanks for help chris colorado

Greetings!

Your best bet would be to call Chevrolet - 18002221020 - and give them your VIN. They can tell you if it's the real deal or not.

According to Comp Nine, your monte is a real pace car edition.

One of the option codes listed on the white sticker in your trunk should be Y92. Which is the option code for "Special edition 'pace car replica' "

Oh yeah, www.compnine.com is back up. But it's not 100% free anymore. It does allow you to try a free demo. So if you like, goto www.compnine.com and type in your VIN. It'll give you a complete run down of what was installed in your car at the factory.

It's cool that compnine is back up. I copied and printed all my info incase it goes away again.
