Hey guys I've had my 2000 monte Carlo for about a yr now and I'm starting to fix it up. I'm going to go flashy not muscle(not like i have an option with the Ls) lol but I'm going to paint it Candy blue and put chrome rims on it But I need chrome chevy bowtie but I can't find one. I want the SS looking one like the outline but chrome I've looked everywhere only found one that's 2 inches which is too small. Any help?

Check your local auto parts stores. Around here, the auto parts stores have the aisle with aftermarker decals and stickers and striping and such. I remember seeing the exact bowtie you're looking for as part of a larger chrome graphix. But the bowtie is able to be seperated from the rest. Just an idea.

 

If you have a local sign shop that can do custom vinyl decals. They could make it the exact size and way you want it.

 

Thank you all. I looked on eBay non stop but no luck but I just saw some from 95 96 caprice grille. And another on autoanything.com from a camaro. The carice one is like 5inches n the camaro is 2 inches. But they're both from grilles but seem to be flat so theyre good only thing the smaller one is a lil sharper than the bigger one will it look stupid?

The one I want is like this one. Its from a 95 impala. i recently got the thinking about what to do with my car. I know how alot of you feel about big rims on montes but i already have some chrome 22s and got the sound system and the tinit. Havnt put the wheels on there yet because I want to wait for the BLUE CANDY PAINT i was going to do within this months. Sum up candy blue monte on chrome 22s and chrome bowties remove knights crest on the 3 sides with the monte grille also. OR i can sell my rims i BARELY got and get a supercharger and with the money for the paint get either a k&n intake or i can get a 3.8 engine swap? so average out maybe like 240hp and plainish or flashy and 180hp lol? http://www.dealsonwheels.com/partsan...X00029&cid=788

 

Me, personally, I will take performance over bling bling anyday of the week. Simply put....SLEEPER. People will think you have a plain jane monte then wonder why it is whining like an new born baby as you are leaving them in the dust. There is alot to be said about the sleeper. I have meet afew and have a friend that is building one. It is the sleepers that get ya. If I see a tricked out Monte, I will think yep nice job but where is the POWER. I am not knocking anyone here. If that is your thing then go for it. Personally, I take power over show. But after you get the power then yes by all means do what you want for the bling bling factor. Here this summer I will hopefully be putting a sterio in my Monte and that will be about it until she is paid off. After that...the engine build then some show stuff. But that is just me.

Ok guys I finally found 2 matching bowties. They're from a 94-96 impala and they're chrome. Big one is 5 inches wide small one is 3inches that's going to go on the grille I bought. So all will be done my the end of the month!
