Hello everyone,
My name is Jimmy. I am a Marine Corps Vet and I love working on older cars. I just recently picked up a 1970 Monte Carlo. Body is strong. frontend was shot and also the engine was not original. According to the VIN it was supposed to have a 396. This one come with a 454. I started with taking the frontend off and replacing and cleaning as I went. Here are just a few Pictures from start to where I am now.
Thanks for having me as a member.

Welcome, nice to see a 1st Gen owner on here - we need more! Wow that looks familiar - my dad had a 72 and had the front end tore apart to rebuild the front end and engine (his also had a 454 in it).
