I was a part of this community...can't find any old posts, but I once had a 2000 SS Monte Carlo. Once the windshield, or whatever, started leaking and it rolled over 100K miles I traded it in for 2006 Chevy Colorado. I regretted it from the get-go, but knew my Monte was having some issues. I just recently traded in my 'rado for a 2006 Monte Carlo LT. It is laser blue and beautiful! I love it. It doesn't have the 3.8 my old Monte had, but it still has enough 'get up and go' to keep me happy. It has an aftermarket head unit and I will be putting a couple 12s in it soon. My old Monte had 12s and it was glorious! This Monte has tinted windows already and I suspect it has an aftermarket muffler on it, but I haven't checked to be sure yet. I took off the bowties this weekend and I am in the process of painting them black now. Dream plans include: new spoiler, HID and projectors, door sills, and I like those chrome grills I have been seeing around the forums - where do I get those?

Will this spoiler fit my Monte? It says it will, but I have seen similar ones that say they won't.

Welcome to the forum!

That spoiler will fit fine but assuming you have the surfboard spoiler, you will need to drill new holes and fill some old holes. Also, look around more, you can find that one painted for a much lower price.

I'm not sure what exactly 'chrome grilles around the forum' are lol but here's some grilles for the Montes.

Found my old posts...pretty entertaining. Thanks for the grille link. Any links for the cheaper spoilers?

back!!!

The good spoiler is hard to find, but worth it if you can find it

Here's a write-up of my process: https://montecarloforum.com/forum/pa...er-faqs-31517/
