Mandatory post me thinks
Hello I'm Jeremy and I'm a new Monte Carlo owner.
I just purchased an '06 LTZ for a DD, I'm on a Ford truck forum so this part isn't new to me. Just want to be able to look for things on the car to keep it running and driving good, mileage, slight performance mods if they'll help with mileage.
About me, I'm 39 and have two kids. I run a machine shop at Vermeer but am trying to work my way up, hoping to get into the sales side of the biz there. I ran a snap on truck for a couple of yrs. I have two ford trucks that I'm working on simultaneously. 1- '78 F100 2wd SB getting a '05 crown vic front with plans for a lincoln mk8 quad cam 4.6/auto and IRS, doing a ground up resto mod on this (it was my first vehicle) 2- '79 F250 SC 4x4, swapping in a 460, eventually want to put a 5spd in, but mostly just fix it up so its a good driver on 35" tires.
So yeah the Monte will be the one getting the best mileage....
