Small update, since I haven't posted anything lately:

Looks like the '03 Pace Car is a done deal. Last week I saw it and test drove it. Today the current owners went to the bank and paid the car off, so they can get the title and sell it to me. I knew about this before I agreed to buy the car, though. I'm not sure why they didn't pay it off before they decided to sell if they had the money, but oh well. The husband called me today and told me about it. He warned me that his wife will probably cry when I take it home. LOL It was her baby. So I'm hoping for Fri or Sat, but more than likely I won't get it til one day next week.
In another interesting turn of events, my father decided after shopping Monte Carlos with me that he likes them too, so last week he picked up a 2002 Monte Carlo LS. Dark blue, very pretty car. He's already starting with some small mods. He picked up Ventvisors and tint. He wants to put fog or driving lights in where the stockers on SS's go. I aslo got the new fender for my Tracker, so I should have it ready to sell soon.
I'll probably be more active after I have the car and title in hand, it just doesn't feel 100% right yet since I don't actually have my own Monte.

 

Picking up my Pace Car Wednesday!!! Super excited!!! Too bad winter is quickly approaching. Pics to follow.
