Default Looking to buy a 72 Monte Carlo

Hello everybody

I am going to look at a 1972 monte carlo this weekend will be my first classic car (potentially)

Anything I should look for in particular while i'm checking it out? Any common problems with this year? What type of mileage are you guys getting? (350) And any other advice info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Kafka

Good for you. The 72's are nice cars. As far as mileage ? I don't think anyone buys a Classic car for that. 350 2bbl or 4 bbl ? One thing for sure ? since I don't know your name is they are a lot easier to work on then cars now days. A lot of parts are interchangeable with that yr Chevelle's. If you get it. You might send for a couple of FREE catalog's. One from OPG. WWW.OPGI.COM Good luck with it. Rick

I have a 1972. I can give you a list of suppliers to help restore it.

is there any rust?

the car is my first muscle car, and first car. It's the easiest, smoothest drive out of everything I tried. Plenty of blindspots so be prepared for that. post some pictures when you can, or take a look at my album or restoration thread in my sig.
