Default "Limited Edition" Question

Hi, y'all!
I bought a 2002 MC SS about a year ago. The dashboard says "Limited Edition" just below the speedometer. Can anybody here give me some info about this "Limited Edition" moniker?

Any Monte Carlo SS (02-04 I think?), built with the optional package that includes the high-sport package also came with that speedo.

The extra silver lip on the bottom of your car, and the high-rise spoiler.

I think the "High Sport" package also included the diamond spoke wheels.

And I believe that same "limited edition" is shown on the Pace Car models.

It's shown on mine because I swapped my overlay (I wanted the chevy bow tie).

Based on your statement, I'm taking a guess the clear coat on the wheels is damaged. If so, then they will need some work to re-finish them.
