I have a 2003 SS and would like to spruce it up a little its yellow with silver sports package was thinking about doing hood and trunk lid stripes.Don't know weather to use red or black stripes will also be putting on some type of black rims.Please give your input on the colors

 

The black with yellow looks really good. I am not sure how the red would look on it though.

 

Red i think would look silly either silver or black would look best in my opinion

What Justin said, black or silver. If putting on black rims for sure, I would go black. Red might tend to look a little to Hulk-a-mania for my taste.

I think red would make people think "Ketchup and mustard". I'd go black OR silver (silver matches your existing ground fx, which I think would look the best, but if you are set against silver, go black, not red).

 

I think silver if your best bet.

Black stripes on a yellow car is going to scream bumblebee to people now-a-days. I also think that black rims aren't the best looking (seems to look like some steelies)

I think silver stripes would look really nice on the car! You can also accent with some silver badges instead of the yellow ones.

 

I agree with mike, you have silver ground effects why not go with silver stripes... that way it will go with your current rims also.

 

Thanks guys after thinking about it and your opinions the Black and Yellow would look like a bumble bee and the red would stand out to much so with your help I'm going with the Silver strips but am still up in the air weather to go with the black wheels or silver as I'm not a big fan of the stock wheels plus they could use a little work from scuff marks.Just want to say as a newbie to this site all your cars look great and thanks for having me aboard

 

RON. NOT RED! To get some idea's look at some of the Monte's on here. There's a few YELLOW ones on here that are real Nice. See what you can come up with. Don't RUSH into this. Think about it for a few days. Once its on! IT"S ON.
