Hi all. I just joined the forum, and will be buying a 2001 Monte Carlo LS in the next few days (or weeks, depending on IRS).
Just thought I would introduce myself, and look forward to chiming in, and probably asking some questions.
I am a Gbody nut, and am currently building a 1987 Olds Salon, daily drive my 83 Olds Cutlass Cruiser, and keep my 2000 Sierra 2500 parked! Gas mileage sucks on that!
I look forward, also, to getting this 2001 Monte, and getting to know these cars.

Thanks!
The car in question, is black, dark gray/almost black interior, sliding sunroof, all power, and 149000 miles.
Mileage is a little high, but I have checked it out, and had a shop I trust look at it, and everything seems fine. Hoses and belts look new, no leaks, etc.
The car will be my fiance's daily driver, for the most part.......she has always loved these cars, so we're getting one.

Welcome to the forum. The 2001 LS should be a great daily driver. It won't be the power you're used to in the G-bodies. But as a daily driver with a lot of room inside, the 2001 will be a nice comfortable ride.
