Default Just got my monte carlo

So, a couple days ago i bought a 2000 monte carlo ls. Now i wanted an ss but it was the only one in town that wasn't completely destroyed. I was thinking about maybe doing a build on it but the markets not very big for the 3.4l. Anyone have any ideas on where i can get good parts or maybe a shop that tunes/works with them?

Literally rubbed my hands together here..

A 3800/l67 swap is what you wanna look into.. Almost too much info on this site about it..

Dont try to build a 3400 unless you plan on spending a lot and doing a ton of difficult custom work.. Well, a 3400 in a Monte at least..

ZZP and Intense are a couple that come to mind when modding these cars..

If you wanna stick with the 3400 I highly recommend Milzymotorsports.. I have got a ton of stuff thru this guy and I have not one complaint.. He works mainly on his grand am but anything 3400 you need to look into this guy.

There are some cheap mods you can play with on a 3400:

And there are a wealth of options beyond that. You could L67 swap it, you could 3500 swap it. Do some research and decide what fits your wants and needs with the car and what you are able/willing to spend.
