Default Just got my first Monte in Colorado

How's it going. My name is Jay and I just purchased my first Monte Carlo. It's a 2006 LT. Seems like a fun car. Until this point I had pretty much just been into Camaro, but I figured I would give Monte Carlos a shot. I love all Chevy cars/trucks equally as you can see by my tattoo lol.

Took some pics of my car a few weeks ago, it's been snowing lately so I haven't taken many more yet.

Can't go wrong with a Monte, you definitely made a good choice. I love my 06. Welcome!

I'm sure in colorado you're gonna realize that fwd is actually good for something, ESPECIALLY if you're a camaro guy.

It has to go in for some warranty work though already, had it less than a month. When stopping, the trans shifts down really hard. I'm thinking maybe a clutch plate or a linkage somewhere.

Actually in the front range we don't get a lot of snow. I used to drive an 86 Camaro in Michigan during the winter, so Colorado is essentially cake-walk

I am definitely loving this car so far. I've always wanted a Monte Carlo, never thought it would be an '06, because I love the 80's Monte body style also.
