Welcome to the site. There is a fuse box on each side of the dash. The one on the drivers side has a fuse for the front plug and the pass. side for the rear one in the counsel. If its not a fuse issue check the tabs inside the plastic plug. Mine had to be bent into shape to tighten them up.


Nice looking monte you have here.

Welcome to the forum. I like the wheels you have on there. As you already know, the box you were asking about is the factory amp. If your car had onstar installed, the onstar box is located on the left side of the trunk, mounted to the wheel well inside the trunk. It may or may not have a black plastic cover saying "Onstar".
