Default Introduction

Hi All,

This is new to me as far as forums so let me know if there is anything I am missing. I am restoring a 1974 Monte Carlo and I am converting from bench to Swivel Buckets. I have already modified the floorboards to accept the console and seats and have purchased the seats, console and steering column. What I need is some info on is how I can find tan seat belts and any other tips I.e. Seat Belt wiring, do the retractable belts mount the same as the bench, etc. I have also attached some pictures to share.

Thank you for helping and let me know if there is anything I can share.

Sincerely,

Al

Welcome to the forum.

You may also have good luck on Ebay finding the seat belts as a complete assembly, I have found that eventually whatever you are looking for shows up on Ebay at some time or another, although sadly in my case it's usually when I can't afford it lol

Welcome Al! That sounds like an awesome project. You have to share some pics of this! Heck, it might be a really nice technical write up for others!

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

As moderator Stumpi mentioned Dixie Monte Carlo, have you been to their site before? They carry all types of hard to find parts for your year of Monte.

Now that is how to build a car, from the ground up, and you are doing it right. Looking extra clean, nicey!!
