Hi! I'm new here. I have a 2003 Monte Carlo SS Limited addition. I joined since I love Monte Carlos. I have had mine for around 2 years now and have met others who love these cars. I do have a problem with mine where when it rains the water gets stuck in the doors. I don't see anything wrong with the weather strip for the window.. maybe the door. Then the water pours into my car. Also there is a problem with the ignition where once in a while it doesn't start. Anyone know about this?

I've heard of others with this problem. I believe there are drains in the door, they may need cleaned out.

If you open your doors and lay down on ground, the bottom of the door had a rubber gasket/weatherstrip, if you fold it back there are hole along bottom of door that are drains that get clogged up. use a piece of wire coathanger etc to poke them out to clean also wipe the whole area with a rag. you might have to do this several times after rain til the dirt/debris inside the door is washed out!!
