Default I have no idea what is going on....

I have a 2001 monte carlo ss. The car is overheating, the traction light keeps coming on, the engine smells bad. The other day it had steam coming from under the hood and all of the antifreeze shot out. It's making this tinkering noises and the oil light come on. I have a new battery, alternator, transmission, thermostat, I see a hole in a hoes coming from the engine but I have no idea what it's for...HELP!!!!

Hi Dimples,
It's difficult to tell you what to do , with just your above posted words.

Who did the install of your prior work ? Who did the thermostat ?
Is there any water in your radiator ? Can you determine what hose is leaking ? Did you continue to drive when there was steam coming out of your hood ? (You shouldn't `if you did)...

I suggest you get the mechanic that did your work to check things out or check with anyone you know that knows about cars.

How many miles on your Monte ? How long have you had it ?
