The NASCAR Edition didn't come from GM. A Third Party added the additional features.

Thanks, guys! Donutboy97, I do believe you are "pulling my leg"! I guess I have more research to do! Stumpmi, she picked it out! She has been wanting one forever! Quite the "upgrade" from a '97 Taurus GL "hoopdi"! Phuntley, that is the plan. I hope we can "git r done" and pull her off the road before she gets too far over 50k (gotta drive it for a little while, anyway!).

Guys and gals, in the trunk where all the codes are for what was put on at the factory, is there a "sticky" here to decipher those codes? If not, where can I find the answer I seek?

You can try to use a VIN decoder to see what the codes mean.

A 3rd party company worked with GM to create 1000 of those. They are pretty neat, but the 20s that you have on the car, are probably the ones that came with it.

American Specialty Trucks did the modification to the 06 and 07 Montes.
There are supposed to be 1000 Red and 1000 Black
There should be a plaque on the trunk R/S with there logo looks like wings and in there is a number that is the number of yours there is all kinds of documentation if you got the car new if not the seller should have provided it with the car.
They were all done the same except some have a sun roof and some don't.
There are 20 in rims with nascar on the center caps
The inside also had nascar badges on the bolster seats
Aluminum grill
A fake hood scoop ( looks cool anyway )
Vinyl Stripes from the front bumper all the way across the top to the back bumper.
