not too many 4th gens around here, but glad to see another one on here, if i'm not mystaken bucket and consol shift was an option

the sensor is probably junk, location i'm not sure, could be in the side of the block or on the cyl head
did a quick search and came up with this
The temp sensor is in the driver's side head,between #1 & 3 cylinders. There is one green wire going to it

My vin does not have G as the eighth digit and it’s an SS
So I ran my vin number and it turned out my MC is a SS as well. The eighth letter is actually an “H”. I knew it had to be with it being a V8 and 5.0.

According to this article the 8th dight must be a "G" in order to be a Super Sport you claim your Vin has a "H" so it is not a Super Sport. Both engine's are V8"s Sorry it wasn't but either way still a cool car.
