Hot 3800 need help

Default Hot 3800 need help

Im Jon Stevens. I live in Kentucky. I have a hot monte carlo and cant fgigure out why. I did run Blue Dervil in it to repair it and now it runs good but runs hot. No leaks. New waterpump, no oil/water mixed.....Help

did u change thermostat? Also make sure your fan is kicking on.. also.. (define it runs hot) where is your temperature at on the guage

check your fuses as well for the fan. Make sure your hoses to your radiator good not collapsing. Also I read on here it's best to get a thermostat from the Chevy dealership. The ones at the auto place are not good

I use Stant GOLD Thermostats.
Do not put a cheapo crap one in it.

I just did my whole system over.
Everything but the radiator.

My gauge reads dead center on hot days maybe a little towards 1 o'clock.
Normal temps it hovers around 11.

I put in a 180 degree thermostat.
