I just got an 07 Monte Carlo SS last month with very low mileage & in pristine shape. I found this forum when I was looking for how to shut the dome light off. I'm kinda bummed because I just scratched the left rear side trying to back down my driveway from hell. I hate that stone wall!! I have always loved cars, even though the older I get, the more mechanically disinclined I get. My Monte was my dear friend's baby. He passed away last summer, and I bought it from his wife, also a very close friend. I used to start it up and run it every time I visited so the battery wouldn't wear down, little knowing I would wind up buying it. I looooove this car!

Other cars I have: an old 1987 Totota 4WD pickup, 72 Buick Riviera boattail, and a couple of others.

I run a small power plant (cogeneration, gas turbine) for a paper mill.

I like to travel, read, drink beer

 

Welcome to MCF, Josie! Congrats on the purchase, but I'm sorry you lost your friend. Throw up some more pics of that ride when you can. Throw in a few of that boattail, too! I love those things.
