Newbie here,

I have a superior blue 03 ss. Interested in a few things.

I saw how some of you have painted the letters on your engine covers... taped them?.

I am looking into brighter lights, especially the lame fog lights.

Any one have a sunroof wind deflector?.. does it work well?.

I've learned a few things messing around with mine.... i took off the aluminum cooling fan covers and took some never-dull to them.. they almost look chrome now, simple and very cheap.

I've seen some good idea's on here and looking to exchange.[8D]

Engine cover, I painted my entire cover. First painted the letters and taped off the letters and painted the rest of the cover with a color changing paint.


Bulbs, after using a set of blue bulbs off of e-bay I switch to Silver Stars, but MonteLS posted a link to another bulb vendor for colored and brighter bulbs. Run a search on "HID"

 

Welcome, I didnt paint my engine cover, I was going to, but I just took it off so my engine would run cooler.

I must say that I'm jealous of those of you who have 4th and 6th gen MCs. I still love my 97 though...I guess I'll have to make it look and go as good as possible.
