Default hey new member here. Advice please?

i just joined a few days ago so i figured ill say a little about me. im a 19 year old college student who works in a supermarket freezer from new jersey. i have had my monte carlo for almost 2 years now and i think its about time that i start putting some money into it. i have a 2001 LS and was wondering what kind of upgrades or mods i could put into it without getting too carried away. this is my first car and im new to mods so i dont want to get in over my head. also i have read that there isn't much for the 3.4 but if there is anyone who has done work with one and would like to share it be very much appreciated.

for performance you should start with looking at the wizaired CAI from ZZP. its under the grand prix section.
