hey guys! my name is Steve. i'm somewhat new to monte's but not new to 3800's! i have a 97 GTP that unfortunately caught fire a couple weeks back....NIC cam, genV blower, zzp headers, ssic, zzp trans w/ 3.29's etc etc...tied the NIC cam record on the dyno, then blew a head gasket....fixed the gasket, got it running, revved it up and discovered the hard way that an injector wasnt seated all the way.....burst into flames...toasted my wiring harness, fuel lines, and lots of plastic...burned for about 2 mintues before i got it out with a fire extinguisher.....well it's a 97, it's rusty, and its time for me to move on..i am looking for a 2000+ monte to swap my engine and trans into! any help would be great it appears that i cannot access your for sale section yet (which is understandable) so yeah....i look forward to purchasing a monte and joining the forces

Steve, glad to see another MI member join. That is some mind blowing shiz that happened to your last car. However I'm glad you have come to enjoy the body styles of the Monte Carlo.
