Welcome! Sorry you had to come by your Monte in that way. But I think you'll enjoy your new ride.

My father was not the first owner, he was the 2nd and im the 3rd. Car is still in great shape. 81k miles when I got the vehicle 86k now.

What i've done so far:
it's a 2004 SS Monte Carlo 3.8 V6. Added silver rally stripes, and an audio system for now(Kicker CVR 10 with a 300.1 Kicker amp and a JVC KDA 815 5V out head unit), Viper security (all the bells and whistles, glass breakage alert, lift alert etc etc.) and remote start.

What I want to do:
HIDs, LED Taillights, new exhaust, K&N cold air intake, Custom Leather kit (Black leather with gray leather inserts, red stitching and red SS logo stitched into the head rests), I would also like to put 06+ wheels on it, and if I could replace the gauge cluster and steering wheel with 06+ if it is possible.

The leather kit will be here within 2 months! It's a gift from my fiance for our wedding (getting married October 23rd)

I posted some pics that I had on my phone in my garage portion of the forum here.

Welcome to the forum. Sucks how you got the car, but glad that you are enjoying it as I am sure he would have wanted!

It is NOT easily possible to swap the gauges from the 06 because I believe they pull from different connectors.

I'm very curious about your custom leather kit. How much, where you ordered it from, etc. I'm am trying to mimic the 2000 Pace Car with the black seats and red inserts. I already have the Steering wheel and head rests.
