Help with value, please!!
Need assist:
I bought all my late g-dads Chevy cars either the hobby, collectors, parts pieces, specials, etc.
Time to sell and limit to my chosen ones.
I have 04 Dale JR SS, 36kmiles, garage, replaced key when gdad lostb original. Programmed worked fine, slight issues with security not recognizing so not work. Thoughts on how to replace BCU to override security and bypass so I can fix and sell to someone to enjoy??or would it be easier to do as is? If so what quilted be fair $
Great car, condition, 36k original low miles, garage keep, sell as is or maintain, troubleshoot, fix what us possible. Really need to sell or list bc now with family if 5, need larger vehicle with 3 rows!! Any and all help advice anything is greatly appreciated accepted, and thank you!!!

I took it to my non-GM service shop and they replaced the switch and key for $189.00 I got a second key before I sold it. for an extra $25.00 So I would recommend doing that. If you leave the car as is you are gonna be low-balled on price because it has an issue.
36k is low miles for an 04 Monte Carlo There is a wide range on this one if it all works $5k on the low end and $10k on the high side. Do some research on Craigslist, ebay, and Cargurus and see what they are going for.

this one went for $9,900.00 at Barret Jackson and had only 19K on it, back in 2018.

Personally, I think you'd be lucky to get much more than scrap value with it as it sits. With all the slime ball sellers out there, buyers are going to assume it's an unreported flood car or that the engine / trans is destroyed and this is likely just a cover up to prevent them from properly inspecting the car.
Once fixed, the actual value is going to be a bit tough to accurately determine as the mileage is unusually low for the year. It's not low enough to compare against the big auction collector cars with near zero miles, but its well below typical for a daily driver. Youll probably end up somewhere in the middle, probably a bit closer to the daily driver side. Its also gonna depend how fast you want to move it too. Less time to price it high / advertise it everywhere and slowly work the price down until you get interest.
