What is the deal with the security lite that is located on the left side of the dash? It came on and now I would like to figure out how to get it off,the owner's manual has little info in it about the keys.

Any help is appreciated?

The VATS is acting up. You can either a) get a new key made, and hopefully the issue will go away (the chip in your key gets worn down). If that doesn't help, you'll need a new ignition switch, as there are connectors in there as well. If you don't want to do that, you can disable it. Here's a link with instructions.
