Default Help!!!

Hey all. New member. Major leak on my 2003 Monte Carlo. Looks to be mid-engine in the front of the engine. Dripping well over 60 drips a minute at a pace of 1-(quick)3-1-3-1-3 and so on. Any ideas on where it’s leaking from?!! I definitely assume it not safe to drive until fixed. Any help or likewise experience would be appreciated. Car only has 88,000 miles and has been taken good care of and timely oil changes. The leak is behind a black cylinder mounted in front of engine. Thanks

This is a difficult item to try and visualize with out the engine size, or even a photo of it.
So I am assuming your car is an SS and would have the 3800 motor in it.
I am attaching a photo of that.

3800 motor

Also could be a 3400 motor so I am attaching a photo of that.

Pick the correct one and then we could help better.

But if I had to SWAG it I would say a Hose is bad., if not the Hose possibly the water pump is going bad and I believe this car may have some sort of piping that can leak up front too. Given the car is a 2003 the hoses could need replacing I do mine every 3 years and a coolant flush as well just to be safe.
You probably shouldn't drive to much until it is fixed.

Under view

Seems to dripping persistently from here. Not sure how. Looks like an electrical clip. Tried to upload video but it wouldn’t work.

I think I found out what it is. Oil pressure switch. Hopefully that fixes my issues.
