hello from ontario
names Jody Suchard,live in Picton Ontario Canada.I just purchased a 1985 monte carlo out of the trees,teal green or robins egg blue kinda colour,want to put a 5 spd tranny in,have motor , tranny,but i need the whole clutch assembly,pedal and all,can anyone help me,nice to be a part of such a large informative community.

Does your 4th Gen have the 305 cubic inch 5L or does it have
a transplant 350 cuber
What model is your monte ? SS ?

i'm not too familiar with that style of monte, other than the fact that i know i like them, so there's a few guys on here that really know about them and they'll be the ones to answer your questions

purchased without a motor,looked up the serial # on the net,says it came with a 3.8 v6,2 brl carb,body style is coupe,pretty clean car considering it sat in the bush for last 5 yrs,lol,i have a 85 trans am with 350 done up for a stock car,with the 5 spd,gonna put the motor and tranny in,already gave transam away to a friend who wanted it alot more than me,lol.gittin ridda all chrome along bottom,rust catcher eh.anyways thanx for the warm welcome guys and gals,hope to meet up someday on the road.

There was someone here looking for the chrome piece on the passenger door. His is missing, and hasn't been having very much luck. Wish I could remember who it was.
