Welcome!

I was just in Monterey this weekend :P I live in South San Jose, about 10 min from Morgan Hill.

I know you can get the remote keyless entry install, with the remote start for like $300ish at the dealer. I recently saw an ad at Courtesy Chevrolet (off of Stevens Creek in San Jose) for the remote start/ key fob addition.

Thanks for the hello. According to the sticker, I have remote start. Ordered a fob on eBay since I have none.

I work on 10th st in San Jose. Be crusing down the hiway in about 40 minutes.

Monte Carlo, the official US 101 pace car . .

Welcome. It was kinda strange that GM got rid of the Monte badges in 06. I think that's one of many reasons why people didn't like the 06 and 07 Montes saying that they were more generic now. I personally love the look of them. I'd buy one if I didn't own a Monte already.

I got my eBay clicker today. Woohoo, I can open the trunk without reaching in the cabin. Not complaining, but didn't notice on day one that the trunk or passenger door are keyless. Did spend a few seconds trying to swivel the bowtie on the trunk lid to find the keyhole :p

This was Tuesday. April showers brought not one, not two but three accident related traffic jams and I had to go to Livermore. At least the ride was comfortable

The obligatory beach shot.

Growing up here meant cruising Asilomar and parking to watch the sun set. Then boys & girls would sit and watch the submarine races
