hello fellow monte enthusiasts

Hello I'm a new member to this forum although I have been using it to diagnose problems with my 2001 Monte Carlos ss for the past couple years. It has been a lot of help so far and I figured I would be even more help if I was a member.

My Carlo currently has 208,xxx miles and I'm hoping to get another 100,000 before I have to replace the motor. I bought it with 128,000 and it had a bad trani which I had rebuilt about 40,000 miles ago. I've had just about every common problem with my Monte and a handful of problems I've never heard of before. Having the lower and upper intake manifold gaskets replaced this Monday as well as the valve cover gaskets.
