Default Hello Everyone

Hello All,

I stumbled upon this forum just at the right time. I just found out that my 2002 Monte Carlo SS #3 needs a new oil pan gasket and was looking online at how to replace it. I love my car and drive my son 56 miles one way to school everyday due to him being Autistic and going to a special school. I have already seen 1 person on here that has the same car and I look forward to connecting to others soon.

Top of the morning to ya.

Oil pan gasket is fairly straightforward, just make sure you drain the oil before you drop the pan

Welcome to a great site. The oil pan is pretty easy stuff. Just like Nitehawkjcb said. Makes sure the oil is drained 1st. Then its a good time to change the oil filter also. Wipe the pan clean and wash it, dry it before you put it back on. You can get a Manual from O Reilly's auto or even Auto zone.
