Hi,

I am Torsten, living in beautiful Bend, OR since two years.
The reason coming here is my daughters first car, a '98 Monte Carlo 3.1.
We got the car a few month ago for the solely purpose of giving my teenager a reasonable ride.

I used to repair my cars when I was a student and looking at this car I felt like being a student again. My first car was a 1982 Opel Kadett (GM) followed by other "nice" cars.

I have elevated the Monte Carlo from a pure commute into a rebuild project since I like the car and need a hobby.

Two years ago I moved into Bend from Berlin, Germany so please excuse my limited knowledge about specific car terminology even if I'm a engineer.
