Hello alll..
Hello I am new to the forum.. I have a 1988 Monte Carlo SS thatI have updated and it looks great.
1)GM performance crate motor-350 with Edelbrock performer intake, holley 600 carb. I also have a freshly rebuilt holley 750 double
pumper. About 4000 miles on the new motor.
2)Hooker comp long tube headers with flowmaster exhaust and polished tail pipes.
3)Late model 700-r4 transmisson with 373's in the rear.
4)American racing torque thrust II's wrapped in Firestone tires.
5)New KYB shocks all around.
6)Maroon interior with New year one dash cover, CD player and speakers.
7)Fresh black paint and all new weatherstripping.
Any other Monte owners with similar year cars?

Hi Petey88ss [sm=welcomesign.gif]
Welcome to the forum. We have a lot of members with your generation Monte Carlo. Your generation Monte is one of my favorites. Lookin at what you've done with the car, I'd have to quote Tim Allen: "R-R-R"

RE: Hello alll..
Its not a daily driver for me.. More of a weekend cruiser. I had the 750 on but it needed to be rebuilt and I have not put it back on yet. Was an animal off the line with the 750 and more of a cruiser with the 600..
Hmmmm what to do??
Hmmmm what to do??

I built the car as a cruiser. I was out of the muscle car game for a few years until I came upon this SS. I wanted a car that I can go to car shows with and cruise around in when the weathers nice. It may see the occasional track time. But thats yet to happen.
