New to this forum have a 2000 monte carlo ss 80k miles starting to fix her up she needs new speakers carpet and a lot of paint work

Ok i am in need of an answer i wanna replace the front windshield gasket or weatherstripping my windshield doesnt leak just the rubber on the outside is ugly and old can i buy a universal molding to replace it or do i need to remove the windshield any suggestions thanks!

 

Ok i am looking into the sc kit for my n/a id like to to hit about 325 after some other upgrades but my worry is the tranny would i need to spend thep $2?00 on a performance tranny or could i grab an hd tranny from a sc gm car (regal gs boneville ssei grand prix gtp riviera ect) and have it rebuilt?

 

All depends. These trans are glass. Some have good luck and others don't. My suggestion is any power level much over stock get a built trans from triple edge performance.
