Default Hello

Hello,
I am somewhat new here. I signed up a while ago after I got my car and modded it a lil but havent been back till just the other day. I bought an 04 ss supercharged about this time last year and so far I have gotten the wizaired cold air intake a 3.4 in pulley and 3 in exhaust welded to the cat no resonator straight back y'd off into 2.5 with flowmaster 40's with nice chrome rolled and angle cut tips sounds pretty good especially at wide open but I need to get a glasspack to put in there to tone it down a lil, but other than that it sounds prety good.
here is a pic of my car, not a very good one because it was taken with my cell phone but I just got those wheels a week ago black chrome 18's with 255/40 zr18 riken raptors

Hi `Greg,
It's great to see you back on the MCF, and sharing what
you have done to your awesome Monte Carlo SS.
You have a beautiful Monte Carlo, & I like the rim's.

Look forward to your future posts/updates

Welcome to the site.
Very nice car. I've seen wheels similar to that in person, and pictures don't do them justice. They tend to look best on sunny days.

Did you switch the order of the "SS" and "Supercharged" badges, or did you buy the car that way? Little touch of unique-ness.

It's funny you mention that, Taz. I've noticed that some say "SS Supercharged" and others say "Supercharged SS" and others say just "Supercharged" on them. I'm not sure if those were owners doing that or if the factory workers just forgot the order or the SS. lol. You're right, it does add a bit of uniqueness. Funny story about a mix up with badging. My step dad's uncle in 2003 bought a brand new Dodge Ram with the 5.7 liter Hemi. Well, one side said "Hemi", the other side said Cummins24 ValveTurbo Diesel. A little mix up there!

thanks,I bought it that way. that makes sense whyI thought it never really looked right. the previous owner took the badges off the trunk and changed them it had the red Monte Carlo badge and the big SS instead of the small one, but thenI took the red Monte Carlo off and put a silver Monte Carlo on. besides that I had to take them off and buff the crap out ofthe paintfrom when they removed them the first time because they didn't know what they were doing, it was scratched bad.

That stinks that it was scratched up...bleh. That's okay, I have tan leather in my car and there is latex house paint on the seats....that's what happened when the previous owner let his daughter's [painter by trade] boyfriend borrow the car for a day...friggen moron. )
