Default Hello

Hello, I recently got a 2000 Monte Carlo SS and I've had some problems with it. I had the hazard switch replaced because my blinkers only worked half the time and was told that was the problem. Then I had to have my wheel barrings replaced and just was soon as I got the car back from the shop for the wheel barrings my temp gauge stopped working and now I have a funny sound coming from the car like a belt is going out or the fan...was wondering what would cause my temp gauge to go out and has anyone had any problems with the fan going out?

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about all the problems. The wheel bearings on these car are nothing short of an epidemic. Temp gauge could be the thermostat stuck. Good luck. Someone will have more ideas and suggestions im sure. Try searching past threads to see if there is any info there.

Welcome to the Forum! When my temp. gauge quit working it was the coolant temp. sensor. It's right by the thermostat housing. Hope this fixes your problem.
