Welcome to the Official Unofficial Monte Carlo Forum, Tom. It is nice to see a lurker come out from the shadows. Now you get to participate in the all the madness! Just remember that it is a "*****-Free Zone" and to mind your manners. Welcome to the family.
Anything you need, just ask...someone here will know.

RE: Hello
Thanks SpaceRider.

I like the 3.9L, color, and the general overall changes for the '06, '07 models and, yes, the dual pipes in the rear. The only thing I have a con about is the neutral color for the interior. I think you have mentioned elsewhere here they show everything and they do. Chevy could have done with a better selection of material and color.
I've recently returned to GM after driving foreign (VW, Honda) for 30 years. Back in the day ('70s) when I was a good deal younger than I am now, I drove GM; 2 Olds 442s, Chevy Impala SS, Pontiac Grand Prix SJ, Chevy van 10, and one Ford E-150. ( yes, those are vans and they both had paneling and **** carpet. :-)). The Monte, for me, is a return to those days. A nice 2 door coupe.
