good looking monte, there is a few thing's you'll have to do to adapt the ss front end on, you will need basicly everything from the radiator support forward, and the fender extentions for a ss, motor 350+ is a win the stock 305 isn't bad but leaves alot to be disired, as for a trans your car i do belive came with either the TH200 or TH350c realisticly any trans you put in it will be fine for the occasional track use, if you want to get some mpg i sugest the th200-4r or the 700r4 both OD trans, as for a rearend right now you have the wimpy 7.5in 10bolt, i would say atleast go for a 8.5 10 bolt out of a gran national, or get a 12 bolt or 9in ,

o if you do get a ss front end i may be interested in a few parts from ur currant front end keep me in mind

im not 100% sure but I think the 82 was the onlyyear that came with the 267 115hp weak *** V8. sadly that is what is in mine but like i said before I have prospects on a 350hp 350 that i want to put in, i hope i dont have to change anything!!

I was wrong, the 267 was had an intro in 79
