Welcome to the MCF forum from another Intimidator owner. I bought mine like new condition with under 5K mi, from a dealer 600 miles away, on Ebay back in '06. I have over 171K miles on it now. I've done enough mods to give a good feeling gas pedal. About 315 hp. Pretty easy. More is easy also. They like to breath. That's what it's all about. I drove an Intimidator for a friend from ZZPerformance in Grand Rapids, MI to east Ohio for him. It was something like 335 to the wheels, so closer to 400 hp. Just some basics. Nothing fancy. Did have a beefier tranny. Still got 20 mpg cruising.
What's it worth? Maybe others can tell you better, but what does NADA and Kelley Blue Book say? Both are used. Does it have the certificate of authenticity? Doesn't make it worth more, just nice to have.

nice!! going by kelly blue book the value is averaged around $9000(from what i looked up) the 'trade value' is around 7k, so you may be able to bump down the price a little.

Be sure to give it a good shake down on the test drive...
Also during your test drive.... Find a shop that will alow you to put it up on the rack to check it out throughly... Suspension, shocks, front end components, Brake pad life.... Oil leaks, Trans leaks, (color & Smell) Exhaust system rust.
Make sure everything works properly, from windows to Heat/Ac fan controls, turn signals marker lights etc and so on!
These are all things that you can point out to the dealer to use as points to barter the price down...

Hi James and welcome to the forum!
I think Red Nightmare gave you a good ball park value.
One thing about 99% of car lots when they have a special edition Monte. Like the pace car editions or the Intimidator edition you're interested in. They think they have automotive gold on their hands, and expect a super high price out of it. They like to talk up the collectability of it.
They're really nice cars, and the supercharged 3.8 litre engine is a solid engine with lots of potential for building up if you choose to. But don't buy it for the collectability. Unfortunately none of these nascar driver editions will be super valuable. There were simply too many of them made. When you see collectors buying rare cars, they're usually cars where only a few were ever made like it. Usually less than 100. There were 4,000 Intimidators made. That's not rare at all. Great looking car though!
The Monte you're looking at has lots of life left in it with only 56,000 miles on it. Definitely look into it. Have a mechanic you trust check it for leaks and such. Signs of damage or abuse. The usual.
Good Luck.
